National veterinary laboratory in Surinam: an update

In 2008, Surinam decided to start a project that would lead to an efficient and international accepted animal health monitor. The purpose of the project was to establish a national veterinary laboratory that has the ability to support the Ministry for Agriculture and Food with the monitoring of OIE listed diseases.
